Interview with Agnes Nawroth, Marketing Working Student
Peers: What was your biggest learning at Peers?
Agnes: I guess the start-up dynamic is something really special at Peers, every process and every task develops throughout the time and you are adjusting, developing alongside. It is always fun to work and you learn a lot simultaneously.
Peers: Why are you excited about your job?
Agnes: I get the chance to get to know the practical aspect of the fields I study during my Masters. I can learn something new every day and develop myself, both professionally and personally.
Peers: If you could meet any living person for dinner, who would you pick and why?
Agnes: Maybe, Barack Obama, he has a very interesting life and he can teach me a lot. He has a lot to tell about how he came this far. Not that I am aiming to become a president or something. But I recently read the book of his wife Michelle Obama and she really described the details of his career
path and the challenges they faced together, so I think this would be quite an interesting dinner conversation.
Peers: Now we are in the midst of changes: do you have any home office routine that helps you be more efficient?
Agnes: I always go for a run before I start working. I wake up and have little bit of movement and fresh air. Other than that, my routine did not really change.
Peers: What is the best piece of professional advice you have ever received?
Agnes: “Always aim to improve yourself, and at the same time accept that there is always space for improvement”
Peers: If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Agnes: I would like to be able to speak more languages – it would be so amazing to snap fingers and become fluent in every language.
By speaking different languages, you get to know with different cultures easily and of course it is much easier to travel.
Peers: Which fictional family would you want to be part of?
Agnes: Very fun fictional family is the family of the Prince of Bel Air and it would be cool to be part of their family with all these incredibly funny and smart characters.
